Vacation Bible School will be held July 19th-23rd from 8:45-noon. At High Seas Expedition, kids explore the mighty love of God on a journey that will change them forever! Each day at High Seas Expedition is filled with incredible Bible stories, music, games, crafts and snacks. The kids also will love to go to Chaddars theater where the will find out if Chaddar and the crew are lost at sea! We will have a dinner to celebrate our week on Friday, July 23rd at 5:30 pm and a program where the kids can sing their songs for you at 6:30 pm. Register kids 4years old- 5th grade on the link on this page or come by the church for a registration form. Youth 6th grade and higher are welcome to help with VBS by being a crew leader. We hope you will get on board for a fun week were we will Explore the Mighty Love of God!

FUMC Cushing Welcomes New Minister!
Rev. Sonja Tobey was welcomed in as our new Minister Sunday, June 13, 2010. Rev. Tobey is an ordained elder of the United Methodist Church and is under appointment in the Oklahoma Conference. We invite you to come to either our 8:30 or 10:50 service to meet Rev. Tobey. We also want to welcome her husband Mike and daughter Chelsea to Cushing.

Block Party Bash Sunday June 6th from 5:00-8:00 pm
Join us Sunday, June 6th from 5:00-8:00 pm for our Block Party Bash!!! This event will be on the front parking lot of our church located on the corner of 9th & Little here in Cushing. The feature entertainment will be the Bluegrass Gospel of SaltCreek, the Christian Rock of Thus the Puma, and Kevin Clouse as Jo Jo the Clown! There will be FREE food (Hot Dogs, chips cookies & drinks). There will be games (Inflatible slide, moon bounce, dunk tank, cake walk, outdoor games,crafts, gyroscope ride and more). There will be door prizes, free Lion’s Club Health Screening Unit and VBS registration. We are having a PARTY! You are invited!

Extreme Worship Service
There will be an Extreme Worship Service on Sunday, April 25th at 5:00 pm located at the FUMC Fellowship Hall. The Oklahoma State Fellowship of Christian Athletics will be featured this time. They will have a praise band and student and/or athletics that will share their faith with us. Join us for an energizing and inspiring worship service. Come ready to join in the music and fun. Extreme Worship Service

International Mission Dinner
The Mission Committee and the Youth Dept will be offering a tasting of foods from places that FUMC Cushing have been on Mission trips. Please join us this Sunday, Feb. 28th at noon for a fun time, food and Christian Fellowship.
